reflection

Room 10 went on camp on the 3rd April the first thing we did is go to the waka.  What is a waka?

When they went on the waka they had to get it to start if the class went too far they would end up in Napier but Room 10 did not go too far they turned the waka around then stated go back.   They put the waka back into place and there were weapons not just ordinary weapons maori weapons really sharp carved wood weapons.

This is what I have improved this year I have maths because I have learnt new strategies like  rotational symmetry and place value.

I need to keep working on my writing a bit more to know what the words mean.  Because it won’t be a story if you don’t  know what the words mean.  that is what I need to work on throughout the year.

My reading is good and I need to start learning how to say challenging words and read faster.  Reading fast means you can finish reading in a short amount of time.  A waka is a long wooden boat that has carvings on the side of it.

        THE LAST BUSH

This book is based in a bush. It is in a forest can tell this by looking at my cover.  It show ‘s in the illustration.  The idea is that the house is the boy’s home and he is a hunter.  By the house there is a grave which tells the audience that this book has a mystery.
I chose this book because I thought it would be a perfect book for my age and over what is my age?

This book is only about one person because the others have died.  This was a hunting accident.  They weren’t camouflaged so there was a terrible accident.  You can tell this by the gravestone in my picture and by the way the boy is dressed.
I have used large words in my title so you can easily see them.  I used bush type writing because the story is set in the bush.  Its large to get your
I have used large words in my title so you can easily see them.  I used bush type writing because the story is set in the bush.  Its large attention.

I thought a lot about getting all the letters the right height so it looked good for the reader.  I think the people that will read this book will be about 8 and over because some of the book is really scary.  The audience will be attracted by the title and the picture because the words are bold and the picture is clear.and someone cuts down all the trees.
